ABOUT White Lodge
White Lodge was designed in 1898 by M.H Baillie-Scott for the Chaplain of St Mary's Convent.
White Lodge is a stunning Arts and Crafts period house set in the peaceful grounds of St Mary's Convent, one of the earliest traditional Church of England Religious Communities.
A still point in the rapidly turning world, White Lodge provides comfortable accommodation with self catering facilities, and is an ideal retreat house for small groups of up to 6 and is within easy reach of the Berkshire Downs and the Ridgeway.
Lunch and Supper may be available on the Convent Guest Wing at additional cost. All meals are cooked using fresh wholesome ingredients.
Visitors are welcome at the Eucharist and Daily Office in St Mary Magdalen's Chapel. St Mary's Chapel is also available for quiet prayer and reflection.
