Our Principals

 White Lodge @ Loewen

I am Norazah A Rahman, recently graduated with a BSc from Wheelock College, a renowned institute for teaching in the United States. After 3 years being in the field, only now have I found a place that has its philosophies tying in with my personal ones. This is very meaningful as it assists me in growing as a better individual and in turn give all I could to the children and the people around me. I believe that every child has their individual needs to reach their personal goals in life. As an educator, it hence is essential to be there moulding their future and seeing them grow holistically as a person.
As a leader, I seize to disseminate all the vital information and theories to parents and teachers as we work together hand in hand in creating the best environment for a child to be in. I look forward to working with parents and building a strong relationship to enhance the learning of each child. Although, I truly believe that we should prepare them academically, it is always in my best interest that a child’s happiness should never be compromised. At the end of the day, I deem that the key to a smile in our day lies in the bliss of each child.

The greatest satisfaction in life would be to make a difference, and I have chosen to make a difference in the lives of children. The most important start to education would definitely be imparted through the early years of their lives. Children, armed with their inquisitive and curious nature, are always hungry for exciting discoveries and knowledge that would ready them for the big wide world. These reasons and importance of education in the early years has always been what intrigued me most about the Early Childhood field.

My ultimate passion would definitely be being with children. Their smiley faces, their warm hugs, their laughter as well as their creative imagination and stories never fail to make me feel complete. Knowing that I can help to enrich and make a child's first years a happy one would in turn make me feel that I have made a difference.

Being head of school I have not only been given opportunities to work with children but also with their families. I really enjoy meeting and working with people from different walks of life, each carrying with them a different story, a different culture and definitely a different experience. Working in partnership with these parents has been great and the understanding would definitely be for the best for these children.

 White Lodge @ Jalan Siap

My name is Jezmin Mumtaz. I have been in training and working professionally with young children for past five years. I recently graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelors of Early Childhood Studies. To me being an early childhood educator means providing young children with a rich and stimulating environment that is, at the same time, warm, loving, and supportive of the child's own learning priorities and pacing. It is within this supportive, non-pressured environment that young children acquire a solid sense of security, positive self-esteem, and a long- term enthusiasm for learning. Young children learn in a different manner from that of older children and adults, yet we can teach them many things if we adapt our materials and mode of instruction to their level of ability. A positive learning climate in a school for young children is a composite of many things. It is an attitude that respects children. It is a place where children receive guidance and encouragement from the responsible adults around them where children can experiment and try out new ideas without fear of failure. It is an atmosphere that builds children's self-confidence so they dare to take risks and an environment that nurtures a love of learning.

 White Lodge @ Linden
Dina Bahati is currently the principal at White Lodge Linden Drive. Dina is committed to providing parents with more information about the schools and equipping them with the theoretical perspective of children's developmental progress and an overview of the benefits of the comprehensive curriculum at White Lodge. She believes that well-informed parents will be empowered and be more keen to be involved with their children's learning. Her long-term goals are to take on bigger roles in community-based projects and to work with children-at-risk.
